2022 Donations

DONATIONS 2022

Supporting Ireland's Children's Charities

Your donation in Christmas 2022 went to support Barnardos, Barretstown, Make-A-Wish Ireland and a range of children’s charities around Ireland with a local, community focus through Community Foundation Ireland. Together we raised almost €300,000.

Our Charity Partners

Your donation supports Barnardos, Barretstown and Make-A-Wish Ireland as our main Charity Partners.

Over 3,800 vulnerable children supported thanks to Christmas FM listeners in 2023

Thousands of hours of medical care and therapeutic programmes delivered in 2023

The funds raised will help Make-A-Wish® Ireland deliver wonderful, experiential wishes to children living with life-threatening illnesses across Ireland.

2023 Grantees

Each year your donations help a range of children’s charities around Ireland with a local, community focus
through Community Foundation Ireland. These Charities received a grant in 2023.

The Magic of Christmas funding has allowed us to provide heavily subsidised Educational Psychological Assessments for children and young people.

This project will support families through the provision of hospital and community based support in the lead up to Christmas, over the festive period and beyond, with a number of families also benefiting from short breaks at our therapeutic centre Daisy Lodge.

The funding is being used to provide children in Limerick who have lived through forced migration with enjoyable experiences that they typically don’t have the opportunity to engage in.

Providing every child that travels in one of our 15 ambulances in the month of December with a Christmas gift. This will be the first time BUMBLEance has offered Christmas gifts and we firmly believe that this initiative will bring joy to patients in our ambulances

Funding from ‘The Magic of Christmas’ will be used to support our 35 families in Kildare, as part of our national Christmas Appeal, to keep Jack and Jill families at home this Christmas, with a gift of time.

The Magic of Christmas Funding has been put towards the final piece of our Garden Renovation project to put in place sensory musical equipment in our garden space for our members to enjoy.

By Christmas, we will have shared the magic of Helium Arts and Christmas FM with 600 children who will be empowered to be more creative, supported and connected long-term.

This funding will help bring not only essential nursing care over the festive season but also more love, friendship, laughter and play into children’s short lives, alongside positive memories for the whole family to cherish forever.

Christmas serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of empathy, care, and support for those who are suffering. Funding will reduce our waiting list and provide high quality therapy services for children who are affected by child sexual abuse.

THANK YOU

In 2023 we helped to give the gift of childhood to over 5000 children who needed it most,
